Default Water dispensor stop working GE
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GSS25SGRBSS
Age: 1 - 4 years

Our GE water dispensor has stopped working, although the ice maker works like new, I tried to see if the water line was frozen and no such luck, it seems fine. I am quite handy and could replace any parts if I knew what to replace?? Thanks for any help.

Default

You checked to see if the water line was frozen in the door and it wasn't. So are you getting water to the junction under the freezer door when you press the switch.

Default Woodchuck is the man!

Thanks Woodchuck, I did not have any success with earlier attempts to use hair dryer, although what I did do in addition to the hair dryer was using a small suringe with a tube attatched to the end (pharmacies give them out for use with liquid meds for infants) and put hot water in the suringe and inserted the tube into the water outlet dispensor on the door and forced the water in.... water, yes water, this waorked like charm and saved service call. I also moved my freezer temp to 6 and will know hoe to address if happens again. Thanks again Woodchuck you give sound advice.

Jay
