My water dispenser quit working some time ago. Today I checked the valve on the back of the refrigerator by disconnecting the hose and pushed the plunger to get water and water came out. So the valve is good. I followed the hose to the door of the freezer and found another connection, I disconnected it and pushed the plunger and water came out. With the connection made the water just builds up pressure in the line and does not come out the dispenser. Any help on correcting this would be appreciated.

I have a Maytag refrigerator that experienced the same issue. I discovered a holding tank ( behind the crisper drawers) that had frozen solid. after removing tank and thawing, it worked fine.

i/m having similar prob's with my maytag i/ve used hairdryer to dispenser, wall, and back wall of fridge how did you take the tank off?
