Default Water dispensing really slow.
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TPNZ1PBSM
Age: 5 - 10 years

The water dispenser on the front of the refrigerator door is flowing really slow. I have plenty of ice and the crusher is working fine, the water just flows really slow. An 8 ounce glass would take 90 seconds to fill. I've removed the 1/4 inch plastic water line from the refrigerator to check the flow and the flow is much faster than what comes out of the dispenser. Could there be a clog? How can I check to see if the line in the refrigerator is clear? Does the electronic flow valve on the refrigerator add pressure to the flow? What do you think is wrong? Thanks for your help.

Opps- the correct model number is TPH21PBSM WW

You may have a faulty water inlet valve.

This is located at the back of the fridge and the water line is hooked to it.

Here is a link to your fridge model TPH21PBSM WW.

OK, so I ordered the water inlet valve. It arrived, but it wasn't the same. On the original valve, there are male threads where the water feeds from the valve to the ice maker and the water dispenser. On the replacement, there are no such threads...just 2 strange white plastic inserts...one in each feed hole. How do I attach the 2 lines, which have nuts with female threads? Thanks.
