Hi,
The water dispenser stopped working. We changed the filter, nothing. I pulled the fridged out, and vaccumed up everything blocking the air vent(two Golden retrievers). I unplugged the frig. We tried the water dispenser and it worked. Went to bed and when I tried it in morning, nothing. The ice is working. It will work after it sits for a while but the pressure is weak and the light for the dispenser gets dim. This was never an issue before. What do you suggest I try next? I appreciate you having this forum.

It is very possible that that the controls are too cold, and the water is either freezing in the door, or in the refrigerator, and the water tank. Turn the controls down, and see give it a day or 2 and see if it works. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Hi Tom,
I turned the temp down to 4 in freezer/ frig. No change. Some additional thoughts to give you that might help you discern the problem. The light that comes on when you press the level for water seems to be losing power, it looks like power is being lost. We can hear clicking sounds in the back even when no one is using it. Is it possible it is a electric problem? Like the mother board? Is the pump bad and causing the power to draw? I appreciate all your help.
