The water dispenser thru the door quit working. The ice maker works, I hear the water dispensing in the freezer, to make ice. I changed the filter, and still no water thru the door.

Disconnect the water line at the bottom of the freezer door just before it goes into the door. There is a junction there. Try the dispenser button and see if water comes out where you took it loose. If it does your line is probably frozen in the door. Use a hair dryer at the dispenser to that it out. Maybe raise temp slightly to prevent it from happening again.

I just ran into the same issue. EXACTLY. One of the posts after yours said to pull off the cover from the upper left corner. DON'T... Instead, pull the cover off from the bottom, then the cover will slide up and come off.

The problem with ours was the teeny tiny plastic pegs that held the switch in place broke. They are such tiny pegs that I can't believe they made it through the transport to our house.

We used Electrical tape to hold the switch in place, then for extra measure, use a clip (one of those office clips that hold about 50 sheets of paper together) and then took off the handles.
