Default Water dispenser not stopping
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRSZ6ZRF
Age: 5 - 10 years

Why is my side-by-side refrigerator-freezer's water dispenser does not stop dispensing water? Only when I open the freezer door for about a minute will it stop.

The ice dispenser seems to be working fine.

Thanks

Sound like you may have a solenoid switch in the dispenser that's sticking. I couldn't fine a diagram with the model number you provided.

Here's an actuator switch for your dispenser. It's the only part I saw that might stick. Unless it's your water inlet valve on the back of the fridge.

Here is a link to your fridge model FRS26ZRF.
