Default Water Dispenser Leaks
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KSRS22QGAL00
Age: 5 - 10 years

The water dispenser on the front of the left side freezer leaks without stop. This forced me to turn the water off at the back of the refrigerator. Is there a part(s) that I could replace to fix this?

Probably a bad water solenoid in the back. With the water on, remove the wires from both solenoids. If the water still leaks, this confirms bad solenoid.

Also check your water pressure.

With the water off remove the line from the fridge.

Have someone turn the water on while you hold the line in a bucket.

If there is very little flow this could be causing the valve to stay open.

These valve are closed with water pressure.

If this is the case check the water shut off valve.

IF it is what is know as a saddle valve this is likely your problem.

You should install an in line shut off valve.

Saddle valves are known to get plugged and cause your problem.
