Default Water dispenser drips slowly
Brand: General Electric
Age: More than 10 years

Water dispenser has a leak and slowly drips water. Not sure what the problem is? Ice maker works fine. It's a GE side by side monogram refrigerator.

It may be the water valve at the back of the fridge.

Here is a link to your fridge model ZISW42Emb.

Could be low water pressure in the line too. But, I'd say most likely the water valve.

Doubt it is the water valve. Don't use the water dispenser for 24 hours and then wipe up the mess. See if any more dripping occurs. More than likely you either have air in your line or warm water getting to the refrigerator. Either scenerio will create the drip that you are seeing. VERY RARELY do the water valves cause the drip. Typically, when a valve fails... you know it.

Water inlet valve drip. May be dirty with sediment inside.
