Water dispenser for a GE “TFX 27 FLJ” keeps dripping. There is a cover on the back or inside of the freezer door? How do you get the cover off? Screws or Snaps. I do not see any screws but when I try to pop off the cover I am afraid I will break the cover.
Also what do I check or clean to stop the water dripping from the water dispenser?

The valve for the water dispenser is at the back of the fridge where the water line hooks to the fridge.

All that is in the front is a switch.

There could be dirt in the valve holding it opened a bit or you may have low water pressure to the fridge.

To check the water pressure shut the water supply to the fridge off and remove the line.

Hold the line in a bucket and have someone turn the water on.

If you have low pressure and the rest of the house is fine you will have to replace the shut off valve in your water line.
