I have purchased some new parts for the water and ice dispensers, but I need to remove the cover on the outside of the door. Does anyone know if this is attached with two way tape, and what might be the recommended way of removing it?? If it is two way tape, what kind of tape is recommended?

From my experience most kitchenaid,whirlpool disp covers snap on and off.To determine, look up from underneath bottom of cover and look for two small slots about one inch in from each side.If so put a flat balde screwdriver in slot and turn. This will pop off the bottom and lift up to remove.To reinstall align top first and snap on bottom.....done

I have a GE side by side refrig and was wondering if there is a way to remove the water dispenser cover so I can clean the gasket where between the inside and outside of refrigerator. it is moldy.

I have a side by side refrigaire md#PLHS69EGSSO and s/n 4A61207827. My ice and water dispenser actuator for the water broke off.Need to removed front cover attachment,but I can't find any slot or screw to able to removed properly.
