Wink Water cooler
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GXCF25FBS
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi, I am having trouble with my water cooler dispenser. No water comes out of the cold water nozzle. I took the 5 gal. water jug off and noticed there was a huge block of ice blocking the whole where the water filters through. I defrosted the cooler, removing the ice. It was fine for a day or two now seems to be frozen again preventing any water to flow through the dispening nozzle. Do you have any suggestions. I do not have a temperture gage to control the water level coldness. It is a machine that dispenses hot water, however I turned off the hot water heating device due to lack of use. Could this be why the water retaining compartment is freezing? The machine is about 2-3 years old.

Thanks for your help.

The part that would be faulty would be the thermostat control.

It appears that GE does not supply that part.

Here is a link to your water cooler model GXCF25FBS.

Here is a number to call to see if they do supply the thermostat.
