Default Water at the bottom of fridge
Brand: Other
Age: 1 - 4 years

Please help! There is water pooling at the bottom of the fridge compartment of my fridge freezer (fridge on top, freezer on bottom).

I have looked on the internet and a few websites have suggested this may be a blockage in a drainage pipe but I can't actually see any hole/pipe in the fridge to try and fix the problem. Can anyone help? Am I just looking in the wrong place?

A Make and Model Number would be very helpful

Some models drain directly out of the freezer
Other models drain into a funnel type device at the top back of the fridge and then down to the tray under the fridge

Hi
Sorry - the make is a Diplomat, I am not sure of the Model number as we have moved house since and have lost the instruction manual.

Here is a link to help you find the model number

All I can find under Diplomat are fridges made by Danby but there are a number of models.

You normally can see the drain tube running down the back of the fridge. This will tell you where it enters the fridge.

Here is a link on how to clean it
