This is the second time we have had problems with this side by side Amana refrigerator, but now it seems as if the compressor is gone! Was wondering if anyone with this make and model knew how long warranty is for condenser? Also, I would imagine since this refrigerator is approximately 3 yrs. old, it would be worth replacing. What would replacement cost be and should this be attempted by professional for installation?

Hi Cindy,

Being around 3 years old I would say amana still had the 5 years sealed system warranty.

This would cover the compressor, evaporator and condesser along with any freon leaks.

If you have your owners manual it will say in there what the warranty is.
