Cannot find any info on this unit. Are you sure that the Model Number is correct?

Have you pulled the panels off and checked you freezer coils
Are they iced up?
Why did you replace the defrost timer and how did you determine the timer was the faulty part?
You may still have a defrost problem if the heater or defrost thermostat is blown

Fridges are usually worth fixing unless the compressor goes or you develop a freon leak

Sorry, gave you the wrong model #, its FRT18NNC. Just checked the freezer coils and they are about a quarter iced up.I took a chance on replacing the defrost timer. My tester was acting goofy and the part was cheap enough.

Here is a link to your units parts
FRT18NNC Parts List

If the coils are only iced up where they enter the freezer, there is a good chance that you are low on freon. Especially if the compressor runs continuously.

Is the freezer fan running?
If it is running defrost the fridge manually.
Then let it run for 24 hours (leave the freezer door closed) if it does not cool down below freezing then low freon is very likely

Unless a fridge is very expensive to start with and relatively new, when it needs freon or a new compressor, its probably time to go shopping.
