The fan is not working in the freezer or the refrigerator. The freezer is not freezing and the refridgerator is not cool

The door switch on some refrigerators will stop the fan when opened. Could go bad. The defrost system prevents the refrigerator from running while in the defrost cycle. Could be stuck in defrost mode. Check defrost timer,heater and defrost thermostat.
