This issue has been discussed here but maybe not for this brand/model.
Two months ago the fridge got barely cool (if not warm) but the freezer kept working. I unplug the unit for a week then i plugged it again. For few weeks both freezer and fridge worked just fine but then the fridge got warm again while the freezer works as it should.
I wonder what is wrong ? Can it be fixed by an amateur like me?

Your model number is incomplete.

Can you please provide your complete model number found in the fridge section on a tag with the serial number.

Yes this like the other fridges you have a defrost problem.

With the compressor running turn the button in the control panel with a screwdriver until the compressor shut off.

Here is a link to your fridge model ED25PWXAN01.

In the control panel of your fridge there is a defrost timer that controls the defrost cycle.

Look at the control panel section of the break down. The defrost timer is item number 6.

By putting the timer in the defrost cycle this is going to tell you if the timer is bad or if you have another problem.

If the freezer defrosts then you are going to need a new timer.

The defrost cycle will take about 20 minutes.

If you can take the back panel in side the freezer off and you will see if it defrosts.

You will then have to manually turn the button again to make the compressor come on.

If it does not defrost and the fridge starts back up than it is either the defrost heater or defrost bi metal.

You would need a meter to check these.

The bi metal can only be checked when it is cold.
