Default Warm Fridge
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS26ZGH
Age: 5 - 10 years

i HAVE A FRIGDARE GALLERY SIDE BY SIDE. Last week the fridge started getting warmer. Then the freezer started to get a little warmer. I did notice some frost on the bottom inside of the freezer panel. I unplugged it over night. Plugged it back in the next day. Every thing worked great for about 3 days. Now the fridge has gotten warm again. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

Default

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer (part 23 on this diagram), defrost heater, defrost thermostat
