the water pressure and ice production has gradually gotten worse over the past few months..now almost a trickle and thin pieces of ice. checked connections to unit (lots of pressure going in). On a well, filter needed and replaced less than a year ago (change light not on)

Any suggestions?

Check to see if filter screen going into water inlet valve have become stopped up with grit etc. Disconnect water line leaving water inlet valve and check flow when you call for water in dispenser.
