Default Very little water through dispensor and hollow ice cubes
Brand: Amana
Model Number: SXD26VW
Age: 5 - 10 years

My water dispenser takes about 60 seconds to fill an 8 oz cup. The ice cube tray does not fill up with much water either. We get thin and hollow ice cubes.

So I checked the water supply and there is definitely plenty of water and pressure to the refrigerator. I installed a new water valve and filter in the refrigerator. Same problem. AUGGGHHHH.

Where do I look now???
Thanks for your help.

I have the very same problem with my SXD26VW. my water valve was replaced 3 times and I have replaced filter twice. Made no difference. I am looking for an answer also.

I was told that there is a secondary water valve that may have gone bad. I haven't had the chance to look for it yet.

Partially unscew the input line to the water valve. Water should spray out, not dribble out. If so, you have a bad supply saddle valve on the cold water pipe. You will need to turn water off, solder the hole in the pipe and put a new one on.
