Default Very cold freezer...fridge..not so much
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS20WRHW6
Age: 5 - 10 years

My frigidaire worked fine. Then the freezer started making funny noises and stopped cooling. So I narrowed it to the evaporator fan motor. Replaced that and the freezer works GREAT! but then the refridgerator stopped cooling. Its at a steady 54 degrees and holding. All of the fans on the unit seem to be working fine. The coils on the bottom and in the freezer side are not dirty or frozen over. If you adjust the temperature in the fridge there is no change. DO i need a thermostat or do i have a clog somewhere. PLease help.

For some reason the damper is not opening to allow the cold air to be blown from the freezer to the fridge. This diagram shows the damper and other parts. Damper is #115 Frigidaire FRS20WRHW6 Parts List
