Default Unclean water after filter replacement
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.53582300
Age: 1 - 4 years

Recently the water that comes out of our refrigerator has had these small brown things floating around inside of it, so we decided it was time to change our filter (it had been about 6 months since out last change anyway). I change the filter, and flush water out of it for 5 minutes, and still a week later the water still has these brown things inside of it. I really have no idea what else to do since I already replaced the filter, and the refrigerator doesn't have a filter light or reset combination as far as I can tell. I am the original owner of this fridge and its about 1.5 years old.

This is a very frustrating problem , does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks,

John

Some have the problem of flaking of the water reservoir behind the crisper in fridge and the water lines else where. You may can take the reservoir off and inspect it.
