Angry Trying to reassemble icemaker
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KSRG25FKSS03
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Icemaker is not making a ice, it seems to freeze the arm ejector in the middle of the ice. I removed it and tried to do some diagnostic tests. The heater seemed to check out fine at about 88 ohms, but I could not get good readings on the other items with my tester. I want to reinstall it and try it again, but I have one problem, I removed the large wheel that says "do not turn manually" and when I went to put it back on, I realized that I do not know which way it goes on (it will fit on the flat axle both ways). It is either on there correctly, or it is 180° out of sync. Does anyone know how I can align this wheel with the arm ejector?

Also, I tried to make the unit cycle by a putting jumper wire in the T and the H, but it did not cycle. Maybe I didn't get a good contact inside? Does this sound like a ice maker module & motor problem or a thermostat problem or both?

Any help is appreciated.
