 Thermostat Location and Replacement Brand: Kenmore Model Number: 596.71272101 Age: 5 - 10 years
5-year old Kenmore (Amana) freezer on bottom refrigerator: We are 25 miles from nearest town with repair person. I need to replace thermostat because unit runs incessantly and goes to -20 F. Seems to be a common failure for this just out of warranty appliance. Where is the thermostat? Accessible from back of inside of freezer or from back side of unit? I am handy. Can I do it myself? |
