Default Test Control Module
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: gs5shaxnb00
Age: 1 - 4 years

IcE maker troubles continued.....I've pulled the unit out and followed the "how to test the control module and Motor" instructions referenced on earlier posts. I didn't get either if the ohms referenced. Is it possible that my control module motor and heater are both bad? If this is the case they are both about $88 its worth it to just buy a whole new ice maker?

There is part number listed as the Ice maker (PS869316). Can anybody tell me if this is in fact the whole unit, control module, heater, bi metallic etc.
