Unhappy Temp. display flashing on and off
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: S20B RBB20-A/G
Age: 1 - 4 years

Whirlpool side by side fridge freezer with icemaker and water dispenser.
The temp. displays on front panel have been flashing on and off for some time now.
The freezer part seems to be working ok but the fridge is not keeping things cool like it should and some items of food such as milk go sour after one day.
In the last couple of days the icemaker has stopped working altogether and the fridge temp. display is blank. PLEASE HELP

Pull your front kick panel off and get the service sheet. Sounds like your freezer frosted up. Just pull back panel and check. If frozen you will need to check defrost thermostat while cold and the defrost heater. If both ok you probably have a bad adaptive defrost board in fridg. section. Go to Appliance repairs, Appliancehelp, Appliances, repairs to dryers washers dishwashers fridges repairs microwaves ge maytag kenmore frigidaire westinghouse inglis, appliance how to take apart information, purchasing an appliance help, model number help, for info on forcing defrost.
