Default Sulfur water ruined refrigerator
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ET1FTEXMQ01
Age: 1 - 4 years

Had a repairman come to my home to look at frige that wasn't getting cold. He told me that my sulfur water gases in my home had corrioded the copper exchange lines. I was just wounder if any one else had ever heard of this. I hate to have to buy a new frige every three years.

I have not heard of this.

Do you have coper water lines? Do they corrode that fast?

Thanks for the reply.
Yes they are cooper lines. And they did corrode fast with in 2.5 years. And not covered warranty. I'm starting to think its a Whrilpool issue. My other refrigerators never had this problem. Needless to say i will never purchase another Whrilpool product agian.
