Default Sub Zero Freezer
Brand: Other
Model Number: 550
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Sub Zero Refrigerator with a bottom freezer. The top rack of the freezer, which moves in and out, keeps getting caught up on three small switches in the left, top, rear corner of the freezer box. I have tried adjusting the racks that guide the draw in and out with no luck. The offending switch is the one that controls the fan. If I put duct tape over it, the fan will run continuously, but the draw will not get caught. Is there a downside to the fan running continuously? Does it run continuously when the freezer is not open? Any other ideas?

When the fan runs when the door is open it will pull room air in and blow cold air out. Just not very efficient.

Has a cover fallen off that protects the switches or can you tie them out of the way.
