Default

The refrigerator temp control may not be controlling the damper which opens and closes to let more or less cold air from the freezer into the fridge. Part 459 on this diagram.Partselect.com - GE Appliance Parts And All Brands of Appliance Parts

Could be a control board.

Default Fresh food section too cold at lowest setting.

I have the same issue with a GE PSS25MGMAWW.

I tried setting both controls at "5", and after a day the water dispenser line was frozen and most liquids in the fresh food section were solid ice. Back at "1" and "1" and it works OK, but continues to be too cold on the fridge side.

Could you steer me in the right direction for the part numbers and diagram locations for the "Temp Control" and "Control Board", assuming the same solution applies.

Many thanks,

Eduardo

PS: Also it would be great to know if the solution offered to Alice worked.
