HI everyone I have a side by side whirlpool refrigerator model #Yed22dqxawoo that I have a problem with, the freezer side is getting cold but not cold to freeze anything and the frame around the doors is getting warm the refrigerator side is fine any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you

Is the condenser fan under the unit running when the compressor runs.

Hi woodchuck thank you for replying yes the condener fan is working, I took out
the heater that is cliped on the coils, and the freezer is freezing ok now so maybe it was the defrost heater what you think maybe I should order one

Was there an ice buildup on the evaporator coils where you took the heater from. Double check that model number you gave.
