Question Side by Side REFG not cooling both sides
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS26WRADO
Age: More than 10 years

Any advice on what might be the problem. The lights work so I know I am getting power but the unit just went warm.

Thanks,

Jerry

Jerry, I would pull the refrigerator out, and take off the back panel on the bottom of the refrigerator, and see if the compressor is working. If it is hot as a pistol when you touch it, or it is as cool as a cucumber, you will have a compressor problem. On the compressor you will see a cover. Take it off, and replace those conponents, that could do it, or if you do that, and it does not work, you need a compressor. Check your warranty on your compressor. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
