Question Side by side ice maker spitting water into freezer compartment
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TFX30PPbe
Age: 5 - 10 years
help!!!!!!! we had a leak from a hose in the back ....got that repaired and cleaned out the back and underneath.....now my icemaker leaks all over inside and in the ice bin everything freezes solid and will not dispence. does this have something to do with the defrost ....did I mess something up while vacuuming dust from behind????took everything out including the shelves because they were dripping in ice .... manually defrosted.... the next day ...ice hanging down , ice all over walls and floor of freezer side.... HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

It sound like the water valve is sticking opened.

You may have to replace the water valve at the back.
