Last winter we had to replace the mother board (freezer was no longer functioning). Things have been fine until about one month ago, I noticed that the produce items were freezing (those in the veg. drawer). I have since noticed that not only is it the produce, but anything that is in the veg drawer, shelves, etc. I think the only area that does not have any frozen items is in the door. It is not every item that freezes, nor is it isolated to a certain area. Could this be a compressore issue, temperature control issue, defrost, what? I have also noticed a different noise coming from the refrigeratoe recently, but am finding it difficult to explain the noise. The best way that I can explain it is that it sounds like something is trying to go, but can't.

Measure the freezer and fridg temperatures and post. You might have a jammed open damper door. Just look in fridg section for a cover over a box on the left side. Remove cover and check damper door.

The freezer is set at 5 out of 9 and the temp is registering from -2 through 2 degrees F. The refrigerator is set at 2 out of 9 (the lowest setting without turning everything off) and is registering from 27 through 31 degrees F.

Turn your compressor control (the one that turns the compressor off) to a lower number like 3 and re-check temps.

With both the freezer and refrigerator set on 2 out of 9 (lowest setting) the refrigerator is registering at ~40 degrees F and the freezer ~17 degrees.

Turning the freezer to the coldest setting while leaving the fresh food section on the warmest setting would easily confirm the damper door is just stuck open if the average temp in the fresh food dropped with the freezer.

The refrigerator temp indeed dropped to 27 degrees while the freezer went to -5 degrees. How would I go about fixing the damper door??
