My evaporator fan stopped working so I replaced it. Right after replacing the fan, I plugged in the fridge, powered it on at the control, and the fan did not turn on. Everything else is running. The coils in the freezer are getting cold. Is there some kind of delay before the fan comes on? Do the coils need to get to a certain temp first?

FYI the motor I replaced is the kind with the attached white capsule thermistor.

It could be that there is a problem with the main board.

There should be a technician data sheet locate behind the grill under the doors.

The sheet will be tape to the bottom of the cabinet.

This sheet should tell you how to test the different components.

Here is a link to your fridge model GSH25SGPASS.
