Hi,
I hope that someone has some ideas to help us out. My husband and I purchased a Samsung s/s refrigerator that is 1 year old off of Craig's List about 4 weeks ago and this weekend the refrigerator portion stopped working. We are so bummed out because we paid quite a bit for it and if the old owners still had it it would be under warranty but not its not. We know that this model has two evaporators (one for each side) so we are wondering if that could be the problem. Ultimately my husband would like to repair it himself if that is possible. Not sure if anyone has any ideas but anything would be most appreciated.

try to locate the evaporator in the fridge and see if it's cold or iced up. Is there a fan blowing in the fridge. Maybe this diagram will help. Maytag RS267LASH/XAA Parts List
