Default same type of problem here...

I am having same issue where ice maker is ok (dispenses fine too) but the water stopped working. It is from late 2003 and about a year ago in mid '06 the water stopped dispensing for a few days then started again and worked fine until now. It makes a clicking sound and a low level hum but no water. It is a Hotpoint (GE) Model # HSS25GFPE WW

Check the solenoid at the back of the fridge where the water line is.

It also could be the motherboard located at the back of the fridge behind a small panel.
