It does not make any noise. How can I find out if the compressor is working? I do not know anything about refrigerator so I'm sorry if I sound stupid. I would rather work on a computer. Thanks.

If the fridge is not making any sounds it is likely stuck in the defrost cycle.

Open the fridge door and look at the bottom of the control panel.

Locate the defrost timer knob.

The knob will be located between to screws.

Take a flat blade screwdriver or a butter knife and turn the knob until you hear a click.

If the compressor starts to run you will have to replace the defrost timer.

Here is a link to your fridge model RT14HDXDW02.

Here is the defrost timer.
