The gaskets on your fridge push in to a channel.

Here is a link to your fridge model SCD25TW.

Question Replaced gaskets, door not staying shut

Good morning,

I replaced the gasket on my Amana SCD25TW main door. It's in the groove tighty and tightened down. Problem is the door will not remain closed. It will not seal properly. Any ideas to fix this?

When you replaced the door gasket did you remove the door?

If you did remove the door check the door stop to make sure that it is in stalled correctly.

Make sure that the gasket is not binding on the hinge side, you may have to adjust the door.
