Leave the door shut and let the magnetic gasket hold the door in place. Put something between the bottom of the door and the floor to hold it in case it slips.
Remove the bracket holding the pin and hinge assembly taking note of order of removal of parts. Slide new cams on. You probably need two. This diagram may help.

I'm attempting the same repair, only one of my cams is missing, so I'm not sure how it fits in with the other cam and hinge. The diagram doesn't actually show it. Does the top cam attach to the fridge somehow? Thanks.

Both cams slide onto the hinge pin. The sides with the raised area fit together.

Thanks woodchuck, I got it. I had to take off the door stop (which was bent) to replace the upper cam, then I was able to put on the lower cam and the hinge. Works like a charm! I'm impressed with myself - first time I ever tried to repair something myself. Almost had to call rent-a-husband! Wonder how DavidP2862 made out.
