Default Replace door gaskets
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: pts25LBmarww
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have cold air coming out of both freezer and fresh food doors. I think I need to replace the door gaskets. Is this a hard job? Do they come in one pc? Or do I have to cut them to fit?

Thanks
Louie

The door gasket are not that hard to replace.

They do come as one piece.

Check the doors for alignment first. Make sure the doors are not sagging.

You may only need new bushings.

You would be able to see if the doors are sagging just by looking at the fridge.

Where is the cold air coming from? Where on the door?

On the top, the cold air is coming out in the middle of the door and on one end. On the bottom, the center part does not come in contact with the fridge.

Do the gasket look like they are bent or does the fridge look like it is bent?
