Default Removed door to move now water wont work
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 1 - 4 years

I had to remove the doors in order to fit our side by side Kenmore refrigerator into our kitchen. When we put the doors back on - the icemaker in the door worked fine but the water did not. Then it began to leak a little at the bottom of the door where the clear water tube goes up into the freezer door.

We took the door back off to see if we had pinched anything but everything look fine.

You had to disconnect the water line there at the bottom of the door. Disconnect it again and see if water comes out when you try the water dispenser. If it does it could be frozen in the door. .Try a hair dryer blowing where the water line is at the dispenser for a few minutes. Raising the temp of freezer slightly might prevent it from happening again.

If it doesn't come out check out the junction at the water inlet valve on the back of unit.
