Default Relay/Overload Assembly
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: PTB1954GRW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I've just received this assembly with no instructions -- need assistance with wiring.

The Relay/Overload Assy package plugs onto the side of the compressor -- there are 3 wires (White, Orange & Blue) - all female. The assembly only has two male ports - one pole is narrower than the other. I plugged the orange onto one and white to the other -- there is no other male receiver for the blue wire. Unit still does not cool.

Need to know where (how) to plug the 3 wires to engage the compressor (or what combo of the 3 plug to the assembly) - I'm sure the blue wire must be plugged somewhere.

There are 2 other receiver slots on the assembly - both are female.

Any help is appreciated - thanks RB
