Default Refrigerator Will Not Get Cold

Model Number: 25371662100
Age: 5 - 10 years

REFRIGERATOR WILL NOT GET COLD, THE FREEZER WORKS FINE AND THE ICE MAKER WORKS FINE. THIS PROBLEM JUST HAPPEN OVER NIGHT, AND SOMETIMES BEFORE THIS HAPPEN THERE WOULD BE WATER ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR.

PLEASE HELP AS FAST AS POSSIBLE THIS IS THE ONLY REFRIGERATOR I HAVE, AND I WOULD HATE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE.

You may have a defrosting problem. If the cold air is being blocked by ice it can not get to the fridge section of the fridge.

Is This fridge a side by side or over and under.

This will not make a difference with the problem. The same can happen with either. We do not have picture for the Kenmore brand.

Did you notice the temperature in the fridge gradually getting warmer?

There are a number of thing that will cause this:

It could be the defrost heater.

It could be the defrost bi metal.

It could be the defrost timer.

If you manually defrost your fridge it will work for a short time until you can get it fixed.
