Default Refrigerator too cold
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: pss25ngmaww
Age: 5 - 10 years

Can't adjust temp to recommended setting of 0 and 37 degrees. Freezer keypad will allow colder setting but warmer keypad button won't change setpoint. No audible beep or "set" lite when "warmer" is pressed. All other keypad buttons working normally. Have set for -1 and 43 degrees but freezer always 0 to -1 and refrig. 29 to 30 degrees. Bad keypad or bad control board?

Did the display temperatures change from the original settings all of the sudden or did something else happen?

If the board is not responding it is possible that it is the keypad.

Here is a link to your fridge model pss25ngmaww.

Have lived with this for about 6 months. Honestly don't recall when the problem was noticed. Should I be able to adjust the freezer setpoint above zero? Will not set above zero degrees. Is this why refrig. temp. is so low?
