My fridge is staying warm and freezer seems fine with the exception that there are fine ice crystals around the ice maker area. There is a small opening to the side of the top of the freezer area that has an opening to blow air into the fridge area. We have to manually open this door sometimes. So I propped the door open so air can continually blow into the fridge area. Still, when I put my hand on the fridge side, you really can't feel any type of air blowing and the inside of the fridge just will not cool off.

Any suggestions?

sounds like your defroster. Probably the defrost timer, but you can replace the defrost timer and thermostat pretty easily and inexpensively.
