There is not any substantial frost in the freezer. We were given this frig a couple of years ago used, it never was the coldest. Now it's barely even cool. It' s located at our summer weekend place and during the winter we set it on the lowest setting because it is not in use. Could this be the thermostat? Thank's for any info. Tim

Can you give me a little more detail on the temperatures?

Is the freezer working well but the fridge not cooling.

Will it freeze water?

Can you also verify your model number as is missing characters at the end?

The frig is over an hour away from my primary residence, so I was just now able to double check the modle number. The number I gave is complete not unless it is the number below that ES3803112 (6 or an 8) is the last number. The freezer will freeze water. The frig is barely cool, I don't want to say that it is warm but it sure is close.

You need to check defrost system. Turn defrost timer till the compressor stopps. If it starts to defrost ( you will hear the ice melting) then you have a bad defrost timer, if not you have a bad defrost heater or thermostat. You will need to take back freezer panel off and defrost coils.
