Default Refrigerator leaks....water pools in the bottom. help!
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.71192101
Age: 5 - 10 years

We just purchased a home and the refrigerator leaks from the back on the top (may be coming from the freezer?) and causes water to leak on food and puddle in the bottom of the fridge, where it normally freezes. i have the temperature set in the middle for the fridge and freezer (the recommended temps). it sounds from the other posts it may have to do with how the freezer drains. can you tell me your opinion and how to find the drain tube to clean it and hopefully stop the drip!?!

In your freezer behind the back panel is the evaporator coil. Under the coil is a drip tray that catches the melted ice during defrost. Water drains through a tube to a tray under the unit at the floor. This tube gets stopped up with dust etc. and has to be blown out to keep it flowing fast enough to keep it from freezing before it drains. It may be covered with ice now.
