While cleaning the ice from the bottom of the freezer, because the drain was clogged with ice, I did not turn the refrigerator off. After an hour or so the refrigerator cut itself off. It will not restart. Is there some way to reset it? What could possibly be wrong?

It might be in auto defrost for twenty minutes, check later. If still bad, you might have dislodged a wire in the freezer.

If the compressor is running but the fridge isnt cooling, you may have damaged one of the coils
