Red face Refrigerator and freezer brand Frigidare

Model Number: FRS2SRLECSB
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hey, and thanks in advance for any help possible, this is a great site for help.

Yesterday morning, I opened the refrigarator and the freezer door to notice that the once frozen food was no longer frozen but thawed and my refrigarator was warm. The fan at the back of the freezer still works and blows out somewhat cool air, and the freezer is not cold. Moving the temperature dial to max (coldest) didn't help.

EDIT: I should also add that there's a new rumbling noise every now and then, I can say I've heard this noise before yesterday. It's hard to explain exactly what it sounds like, but it's a humming noise.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat

In most of the new units they now have the adaptive defrost control. It senses when to defrost based on how many times and for how long the door is opened. It's more energy efficient but there does seem to be lots of problems with the board.
I don't get a response with the model number you gave.
