Default Refrigerator door does not close "tightly"
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: PSS26MGPAWW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Our refrigerator door does not close "tightly". I jumped to the conclusion that my refrigerator door seal was bad and replaced it to no avail. It is difficult to discribe but the door is just too easy to open. Not sure if this might be affecting my problem with the water dispenser failing in the door.

The door closing cam could be broken. It lets the weight of the door hold itself shut and assist in closing. Part 16 in this diagram is what you need to check for this.GE PSS26MGPAWW Parts List
