Default Refrigerator - constant humming/working noise
Brand: Magic Chef
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello, I have a magic chef refrigerator, which seems like it is always working hard, as it constantly makes a humming noise... however, when you push against the front door, the noise goes away, I am not sure if it is just a coincidence, but to meet it seems either the motor or something is just overworking.

Any help would be greatly apprceiated. The model number is: RCE224TD - Part # 109587-1

Thank you,

It could be the compressor making the noise and the sound is being transfered through the cabinet.

Check and see if the noise is there when the compressor is off.

Here is a link to your fridge model RCE224TD.

Actually the noise stops when we push on the refrigerator door... or from the right side of the refrigerator, if we push and keep pushing, it noise stops.

Thank you,
